The lessons in detail


The climatic evolution of planet Earth: the general characteristics of the system will be analysed
climate, the main natural archives as well as tracers (abiotic and biotic) for the reconstruction of
paleoclimate.


Focus on the most important climatic events in the Earth's climatic history: PET extension (Paleogene-
Eocene Thermal Maximum) and Oi-1.


Theice ages that characterized the climate and the environment of the Quaternary.
